and i can't wait. i love to have my kids home. and lucky for me, i am home with them most days. working 3 days a week is such a blessing, while at the same time... working 3 days a week is hard. 3 whole days a week that i am not with my babies! for me... working part-time is bittersweet, but still, everyday... i am thankful.
as of late, my 10 year old ben is really showing his "big kid" side. always out with friends. i miss that he is not "mostly" with me. but then again, i am happy to see him with his friends, showing his independence, spreading his wings. again, bittersweet, but still... i am thankful.
this summer, as usual i look forward to lots of fun day trips and outings... local beaches, parks, and maybe even an overnight tent adventure for just the kids and i. i really do like the idea of camping, it's just the tent thing that i don't care much for. but i could go for this...
yup, i think i'll put this on my wish list... it could make for a fun summer project.... for the kids and i!
Hey girl!! You need some company on any of those days...give us a call!! We'd love to crash your parade!! And Tyson would love to play ... I mean follow Ben around!! lol
I too am off most of the summer!
